    where scientists reach European standards contribute to the knowledge of the entire society and the technological development of the economy He announced the infrastructure investment initiative and ongoing projects In his address to the participant of the workshop prof Nedovic clearly emphasized the potential impact of the international cooperation in the realization of the vision above Hence he presented the current efforts of the Serbian R D organizations in national bilateral and international scientific programs Regarding Serbian participation in FP7 Nedovic said that total of 355 proposals were submitted in Capacities area where 44 are mainlisted In Cooperation the most succesfull were Serbian researchers in Energy topic with success rate of 26 In People program 60 proposals were submitted of which 9 adopted for financing Dimitris Sanopoulos from Centre for Research and Technology Hellas CERTH presented European policies for researchers and European dimension of EURAXESS initiative He said that human resources are the core of European Research Area and that the deficit of researchers is one of the biggest threat to its further development EURAXESS initiative has a role to address this threat and minimize it Mr Sanopoulos gave an exhaustive overview of the European Partnership for Researchers communication from the EC the the Council and the EU Parliament Finally he presented the Innovation Union Commitment over 30 action points proposing initiatives in key areas Next track of the workshop addressed the national challenges and framework in which national EURAXESS network has been built in past three years In first presentation Miroslav Trajanovic explained how the national network has been built from the WEB MOB project which gathered most of the todays stakeholders of the regional EURAXESS landscape to EURAXESS TOP project which gave boost to further efforts in consolidating the European network He specifically addressed the difficulties SER MORE
